October Trip to the Dragon - Cancelled
Due to the constant rain that NC has experienced for the past several days and the high probability of more this weekend, the October trip is cancelled. Also cancelled is the rain date scheduled for the second weekend. That's too late in the year for cars without tops and most without heaters. Maybe next September.

For anyone still interested, I'll go ahead and pick it back up again... I enjoy catching up with you TN & NC mountain-folk each year. :3DSMILE:
Some of us will still plan to come up next Saturday, October 10th for a 2015 run. Same as in years past: I-40 Exit 44 Cracker Barrel for breakfast at 8am Fontana Dam around 11am Catch up, thaw out, have some laughs, take in the scenery, then head out northbound to run the Dragon & Cherohala Skyway after. If it's still raining on the 10th, then we'll simply shoot for the next Saturday. Larry |
Rained out again for this Saturday. At least one of our guys is planning on going ahead and driving up this Sunday though.
Anyone interested in meeting up for the run this Sunday? Anyone still interested in next Saturday? |
