I met a single lady from there a few weeks ago claiming to own a Cobra. Anyone know her? She claimed to be taking hers out to Lowes Speedway for some event. Remember an event like this? (It was a driving event, not Autofair or anything)

I am in Forest City, 60 miles west of Charlotte. My cobra is being painted now. Should be finished the end of the month and then I hope the final touches, interior should be finished end of July. Can't wait to get it on the road.

The event you're referring to was the Superformance/Hi-Tech (Cobras and Noble M-12s) annual owner's gathering, that occurred this past weekend at Lowe's. I lent my trailer to a CACC friend, who said it was an awesome time.
The only downer was that someone broke into a bunch of tow-vehicles Sun. AM and ripped off numerous personal effects, including all the cameras from my friend.

The event I'm speaking of was at least a couple months ago. It wasn't Autofair, though there were a bunch of Cobras out there. Any of you locals have 429's or 460's? The lady was almost too attractive to really know cars (like she seemed to). Is that the most sexist thing you've heard in a while? WOW, can't believe I said that. It was almost like being on a hidden camera show weird talking to her.

Wow, an earlier SPF than mine, and in the area... great..post some pics of the car in your gallery. There a bunch of us down here in South Charlotte (Waxhaw, Weddington, South ParK) area that go for sporatic rides together when we can (all kinds of replicas), but would love to make it a more substantial club. A couple of us have been talking about having a BBQ or something to get a bunch of us together soon, just to get to know each other.... I know its a ways away, but if your willing to make the drive, would absolutely like to involve you and anyone else in the area that might be interested. Please let me know through email, include an email address or preferably a number we can add to a list.
