I signed up a couple of days ago, but still have to be "approved" by them. Maybe they are questioning my choice of heavy engines......

Did you post in the Guest area at CACC? It sometimes takes Elder a few days to get around to approving new members and a post in there will spur him into action a bit sooner.

Doesn't seem to be anywhere to post as a guest, but I replied to the "registration being reviewed" email and hopefully that helps.
