Pacific Coast Highway CA cruise - late sept
 

Hello everyone,
The north Texas Cobra Club is planning a 2nd Group to cruise PCH.

Group 1 of 7 Cobras is already confirmed and committed for Sept 20-24 and the core trip is from San Jose to San Diego with overnight stops in Monterrey (Mon), San Luis Obispo (tues), and TBD (wed and Thurs). Their cars get picked up Friday 24th in the morning.

For Group 2, the maximum window of opportunity can begin as early as Sept 16th, and end as late as 27th. We will use Group 1's 5 days as the core trip, we can plan additional days ahead or after. Plans are to go an hr. north of SFO for Wine and beer tasting, and maybe an extra day to enjoy San Diego.

The big plan is to make it to Jay Leno's Garage.

A great trip for the ladies as well. There will be plenty for all to enjoy. There are 3 confirmed so far + guests that will join our cruise. We need 7 cars to confirm Grouo2 and hire a transport to CA and back.

Don Houra of Oregon - will meet up with us for part of the trip and cruise the trip in his cobra.

We can have multiple pick up points if necessary (Houston, Austin, Waco) if necessary, however it may cost a little bit more. First come, first serve basis.

Budgetary: $1500 for Cobra transport to/From Texas (per Group 1)
B&B - estimate $150-175 per night
Airfare most are using reward miles.

Gas (for the 2+5+1 - I estimated about 210+475+70 miles)
