Weber stack filter experience
Does any one of you have experience with the screens from McTrumpet or Bills-b-racing?
http://www.mactrumpet.de http://www.mactrumpet.de/uploads/pics/bild35_01.jpg http://http://www.bills-b-racing.com/ http://www.bills-b-racing.com/images/57mm.jpg I'm not sure which one to chose and your input would help. optic (old school) -> McTrumpet filtering -> Bills-b-Racing flame protection -> ? stability -> ? ....... Any feedback is appreciated to help on the selection. |
I would (and did) choose the latter. although the ones I use (Webcon) has an internal lip that goes aroun the edge of the trumpets.
Filtering. Not obstruction airflow (me thinks, have no data or enything on this). Yes, I agree the 1. option are cooler and old school (the right school). RS |
Alf...just installed a set of BBRacing filters on my TWM stack injection...they not only look great and of super quality but I definitely noticed a touch more power and less restriction than before. Price was right too!

I've dealt with BBR, and find them very accommodating. They will custom make just about any screen projection you require. Their filtering media is as about as good as anything out there. They color matched a set for the DCOEs on my mustang. The quality is very good. Because my stacks had a 1/4" rolled lip, they had to custom make the stack to fit and it was perfect. Again, it's choice for you of originality or cusom refinement? Happy Motoring! |
The first set look really nice. Tough to find that in a Weber filter.

I have a set that Bill-B Racing made for me and they are awesome! Bill is a great guy to do business with and I highly recommend him. You can see the set I have on my IDA 48s. You can't go wrong if you talk with him he can help you out with any questions you might have with his covers.
