Final Dyno Runs Today!

We ran the final dyno runs at Kinetic Racing on my new Inglese fed 427 Windsor today. I peaked 615hp at 6000rpm and almost 570lbs of torque at 4500rpm.

The induction was straight out of the box from Jim, except for the initial sync.

SPF1155 is going to be a frickin' MONSTER!

Question...do all Webers have reversion? The cam is mild and is ground at 112° separation, which is right in the middle of Jim's recommended 110°-114°.

All IR (Individual or Independent Runner) carb systems have reversion, it's a fact of life.

The later the inlet closing point AND the more overlap the cam has, the worse it gets.

Run the tallest stacks you can fit within a flame resistant airfilter if you have enough hood clearance.

615, I bet you're happy with that.

Can you list your cam specs please?

When you say right out of the box, do you mean that Jim Jetted them based on specs you gave him or that they were jetted bone stock?
Also, is this a new motor? or do you have 4 barrel carbureted dyno results?

I mean right out of the box as Jim built them, per my engine specs. Keeping in mind that the engine has not been installed with the permanent exhaust, it looks like Jim nailed the tune, but the dyno runs open headers. It is a brand new motor, so I do not have cam specs to compare. The old engine, which had only 8000 miles, was a 430hp crate 392. Great engine for the car, but more is always better.

The cam was custom ground. I know that the separation is 112 degrees, which is right in the middle of the 110-114 that Jim recommends. I forgot to get the cam sheet from the builder when I picked up the engine, but I'll get them soon. It was setup rather mild for drive-ability purposes

Mild & webers? It'll be fun ride!
