Banjo bolt seals
Where are you Weber users getting the washers/seals for the banjo fitting bolts? Are you using copper or aluminum ? I have used both and they seep after being re-used. Don't find them shown on Pierce's or Inglese's web sites.
Anybody tried Dowty seals or Stat-o-seal ? My bolts have shoulders at the hex end, so they require 2 different sizes.

I just ordersd a set of the fiber washers from Jim Ingleese last Friday. Two per banjo fitting.

Use the OEM fiber washers. Occasionally they seep because the sealing face of the Banjo has a flaw in the sealing surface, if so carefully dress it with a file without removing too much material. After installing fresh washers snug them down a couple of times after heat cycling. Don't overtighten or the bolts will be damaged.

Well I think I've found the culprit ! The port the banjo bolt screws into is an insert of some stronger metal than the cast aluminum of the carb body, and as you hopefuly can see in the pics, there is some corroding away of the aluminum surrounding the insert, leaving it standing proud and providing little sealing surface for a soft metal washer. Ican see why a fiber washer would seal better. I did find some copper washers at the local exotic car shop, they seem to be doing the job, so we'll attempt to tune today.

Yes THAT is you problem area. For a permanent fix, suggest taking the carb top to a machine shop, easy job.
