cam choice
I am going to change from a hyd flat tappet to a hyd roller in my GT40. It has a 302 with alum SVO heads and I am putting the webers on. Any suggestions for a good cam choice? thanks

What do you hope to gain from the change? If you are doubting your current choice, try a
Crane # 363841 Solid lifter Flat tappet.
Good with Webers.

Chuck,
Make sure you get a cam that has nice firm lumps on it that won't overlap
with a duration of about a 20 year old. Not to wild now. Don't want you having a heart attack from all that pull. ;)

I like the ford racing f303 cam. It pulls hard in the mid range and up top. It is the turbo cam of choice for many. " http://turbomustangs.com/ " It would be very obvious your engine is not stock.

Need more information. Simply asking "what's a good cam" is like saying, "I have to fix my car, what tool should I use?".
Street performance, drag racing, road racing, good mileage cruising? Makes a differance.

mostly spirited street driving. I am mostly concerned that the cam be weber friendly.

You can use pretty much anything you want in that catagory. Individual runners like a little more LSA, but that's not a big deal. Stay with at least 110*. if you have the option of 112*, use that.
