Record Cobra Caravan at WSCB!

Just in case anyone, who did not attend "Bash '05", ever wanted to actually see the longest cobra caravan in history (that's right....we're claiming it), here it is. This shot was taken by cindrrrr's co-pilot Cheyenne who also won the top award, hands down, for the most talented co-pilot / photographer. The cars continue over the hill and are in front of Cindy's car. Duane could tell you just how many cobras are in this line. I think 60 to 70.

Next year....Be there or be square.

ps, please overlook the Ford GT. It does not count.

The 13th car appears to be a subaru. Sorry I couldnt make it.

Did all those Cobras run out of gas at the same gas station. That would bring back memories of the 70's gas lines! **)

dblbarrel,

Actually that's not a Subaru, that's Edley's hat!

John,
It was 72 of the 85 cars, to be exact. :)

What a cool picture.

I think "Longest Cobra Caravan West of the Mississippi" might be more appropriate.

The Fling caravans involved more cars, but then again, they certainly didn't exceed 100 miles as a caravan.

Just keeping it straight, and to prevent n'er do wells from bashing the Bash.:p

After more consideration and feedback, we may NOT want to focus on increasing quantity too much for 2006, and maybe focusing more on keeping it a low-key and fun gathering like '05. We are already talking about putting a 200 max limit on it for the 2nd year, thinking bigger may not necessarily make it better. Lots of emails coming in from people that could not make it in '05, saying they'll be at '06 for sure. Just adding up '05 + new inquiries for '06 is already over double if all of them actually atteneded.

Looking for a PM or email from Charter Members with input on this before a decision is made with the location/contract agreement in the next month or so. Thanks.
