Need: Open faced helmet for track time.

Hi guys, I need an open faced SN95 or newer helmet for track day. Does anyone have an extra one ? I'll even buy it if you want to sell it. Thanks, John

John,

Go down to your local (or semi local) speed shop and get a helmet properly fitted (all helmets fit differently, get someone who knows how to fit one when you go down to the race shop) to your head. To do otherwise negates having one on in the first place. If you are still in doubt, let the rest of your body ask your head how much it is worth...Enough said.

For Cobra a closed face Helmet is the only way to be safe.

Hey Rick, thank you for the reply, however, about five years ago I became somewhat clostrofobic (sic) and can not put on a full helmet. It's really strange, the moment that I put one on I have this fear that it won't come off and I literally have to yank it off my head. Bill, thanks also for the suggestions, I have procrastinated getting a helmet knowing that I'd need an open faced one. The two speed shop in town don't carry any line of helmets, they will order what I tell them that I want. There are times that my wife doesn't think that my head is worth 2 cents.
