For those of you unable to attend the Branson Event:

British Car Union presents

We will meet before the event at Panera Bread in DesPlaines starting around 9:45am...We will leave for the event at 10:30am (10 mins. away)

I would appreciate knowing if anyone plans to attend in advance...so post here your intentions please...I will also send an email to the WCCC membership for those who don't check CC regularly.

Blas,

Looks like I will not be going to Branson, Mo. due to other commitments on Saturday, so the British car show might be a good alternative, I'll try to make to the Panera on time.
In the early 90's I took best of show with a Triumph Spitfire I restored, wish I still had that car. Sold it to buy the Cobra Kit, no regrets.

Looks like we aren't going to Springfield/Branson this year, so I'm planning to attend both the Oakton and Berwyn shows as it will be the first weekend after the Ren Faire closes. Here's hoping I can find some time to clean and polish the car before then.

FYI for those of you attending for the first time...
At the British Car show, we are only spectators parked in the general parking area and not displayers in the show...We are not "REAL" enough to be part of the car display...But oddly, our cars usually attract quite a crowd...
A great 1st event for all the "CLOSET" WCCC members...Take the cover off the car and join us...

I'm all for making our own mini car show! Luckily I didn't try to register the car. Ed still might register one of the Lotus to add to their group.

Blas, I'm in...nice that we have our own car show in the parking lot.

This has always been a fabulous show to attend; the quality and quantity of British marquee vehicles is amazing. It’s the perfect way to spend a September Sunday afternoon.

Deal me in.

Since they won't let you show, why not come to Road America to see the Vintage racers?

Blas: I am 50-50 if I can make it to the show. Another event that I need to attend may get cancelled, if it does - I'll make it.
