Where do u like to cruise to?
So its a lazy Sunday afternoon and the wife or significant other says to you, "Let's go for a drive". Being new to the area, where do you go? Where is a good place to go for a drive and maybe have ice cream and then return home?

I always go out west, along US 20 or Route 72.

Sorry I did not see this yesterday. Find "Stage Coach Trail" out of Lena to Galena, it is a great drive and Galena is great city to check out. Google it and go sometime. When my Cobra is up and running we could set up a trip and maybe we will let some other "good" guy from the WCCC group in on it.

Our favorite is Plush Horse at 12301 South 86th Avenue in Palos Park. It was one of our first drives in our Cobra and we even met up with another Cobra there. And there are some great roads through the nearby Forest Preserves - but watch out for deer and other critters!

No. My brother who is an airplane mechanic is coming in that Friday and we are going to spend that day tracking down my oil leak (found a few drops) and tuning it up so it is ready to go for the Volo show. I am disappointed that I will miss it but I have had so many oil pressure problems in the past that any little oil leak freaks me out. The last time I had oil issues I had to pull the motor and I don't think I will remain sane if I have to go through that again. And if I do, this motor is going on the junk heap and I'm going to replace it with something else. :)

Nice Cruise
We like to cruise Sheridan road from Lake Bluff down to LSD and down Michigan ave. It's a really nice drive early evening as long as there aren't any big happenings down town.
