Gone But Not Forgotten!
We buried David Shlagman today and he will be missed by many/many! He was one of these guys that everyone liked & respected. His soul was quite special & quite unique and it's difficult to speak in the past tense about David because his presence, his life-force, his energy, and his karma were unusually strong! If there is a heaven for Davids spirit to soar to, then there will surely be a "heavenly" car show and a well equipped "shop" waiting for our friend! Rest in peace David! You will be missed!

Thoughts and prayer's to his family words cannot express my feelings

Marty & John: Just got back in town. I just wanted to personally thank the both of you for speaking - perfect! I am sure David was smiling after that. Thanks again.

I first met David at a car show about three years ago. His was the only Cobra at the show. I enjoyed our first meeting and later attended a Windy City Cobra club event on his suggestion where I met him for the second and last time.
I always thought that when I finish building my cobra I would attend more events and get to know David better. Sadly that won't happen. I trust that the pain of this sad event will pass soon for his loved ones. And may the good memories of his life last forever. Arthur & Renee |

Always sad to hear!

I wish I had known David better, but he was always welcoming and helpful whenever I had questions as a newer Cobra owner. I especially remember David trying to help me "spruce" up my car for a car show, from getting all the bug splatter off from the previous day's drive to trying to polish up my engines and wheels. His passing did not truly hit me until I arrived at the service and listened to all of the memories of his life from his friends and family. David will be greatly missed.

My condolences to friends and family. For me this was the second passing this week, a cobra friend in Durango CO, although his car had nothing to do with it.
