Lombard cruise night on the 30th!
It ought to be a good one...with a concert to boot! One of the greatest BEATLES tribute bands, Stockwood is playing that night. Wolfie...this one's for you! I'll be there with my car,and I think it would be a nice get-together. No matter what you drive to get there. Bring a chair for the "big shoo" cause they play for 3 hours!

Hi everyone,
I've attended the Lombard show several times and it's really a great show. This show easily has several hundred cars and lots of spectators. Show car parking “tight” and I strongly suggest everyone arrives early. But if you’re a true car nut on a Saturday night...this is the place to see and be seen. Are we meeting at the show or before to caravan in together? |

I'll be there, Sten do we have reserve parking in the bank lot or just first come first serve. What time is set up, I could get there early with some cones and possible save a few spots. But how early should we be there? Fred

We are coming, but not familar with this at all. Need some info.

Cruise is 6 till 10. Parking is reserved in lot,but a cone or two wouldn't hurt.The show basically is down St. Charles road and side streets right down town. I'll be there at 3:30 to get the band moved in and do sound checks. The show itself is on a closed side street, so bring a chair,claim a spot,and check out the show. Probably will be easier to just meet at the bank lot.

Google search shows a Fifth Third Bank just west of St. Charles Road and Park Ave. I'm guessing that's the place. For those unfamiliar with where Lombard is:
fifth third bank, Saint Charles, Rd, near Lombard, IL - Google Maps Weather looks good - starting at 90 and cooling slightly as the sun goes down. I'm planning on leaving here (Brookfield) around 5, should get there around 5:30. |
