July Poker Run
The club calender indicates a Poker Run for Saturday July 21st, but I need to move to Sunday July 22nd due to other commitments. With the weather being so hot maybe we should move to later in the year, although I would like to make the run before the Picnic. Who would like to make the run or postpone to a later date? 1. Short 2. Medium 3. Long,
Three runs figured, we need to pick one, in any case would like to leave by 9AM. Base on the responses and interest, I'll provide more information on a meeting place and destination for our trip. I will post on Club Cobra and the WCCC email list. Fred |

The heat has been an issue for me this year and driving a hot car in 90+° is probably not recommended. Many of my weekends are booked up with school and Faire, but I'll join if I can.

Do to the predicted high temps and hearing from a few members, not only on this site but direct calls, I am postponing the Poker Run for July. I will reschedule after the Picnic in August or September. Although I am up for a Snake-n-Eggs for Sunday and maybe a short ride before noon. How about breakfast at Stark's Corner around 8:30AM, I'll be there if anyone wants to join me.

Starks Corner is at the corner of Rt. 47 and Rt. 20 in Hampshire.
There is a restaurant in the shopping center next to the BP Station. |
I'll come out for Snake and Eggs, but have to be back in Schaumburg for a 10:30 brunch.
Forecast for Sunday is currently partly cloudy, high of 95, but hopefully still a good driving morning. |

Sorry I am going to miss this. Went out this morning and my oil leak is worse then I thought. I am going to have to address it. Arrgghhh!!!!
