Uk cobra hitech owner coming to the usa
Hi guys i will be in Chicago on the 18th of August 50th birthday treat ,and it would be good to meet up with some usa cobra owners. i am still building my hi tech, , and making it into a rhd car, it would be great to show my wife what it will be like when its finished.
My build has been taking ages as i have manufactured all the steering suspenson etc it would have been better to keep it lhd, but too far down the build process. I will be in Chicago for 2 days 19/20th and then traveling around the lake to Detroit. So if anyone would like to meet up it would be most welcome. Pm me and we can set something up. |
We'll be around on the 19th & 20th. We have to work during the day but are usually available in the evening. We don't live directly in Chicago but out in the suburbs north of the city 45 minutes or so. Let us know where you will be staying if outside of Chicago. Who knows, it could be pretty close by not too far away.

Hi Mark , nice too hear from you. we will be stopping at the silversmith hotel on the 18-12th and on to the lakes then , Allagan michigan for a few nights and then to Petosky again a couple of nights and up to Bay city and finally last day in Detroit. i whilst i am there will be looking for a breaker who can supply me with engines to go in to a container for export. My guy i have used in Chicago has changed his business and can not supply .If we can it would be great to see your Cobra.

Hey, Mark, the other Mark lives downtown Chicago and Kate is close by, she likes to drive. Maybe you can all meet up with Adricar. :p

I don't mind going downtown if it's later in the evening. My first cruise around Chicago roared down the Kennedy/Dan Ryan with much waving and screaming from the L platforms as we went by. Was great fun!
Only hitch in my schedule would be if one of our annual charity events is that night. |
