Painter recommendations
Hello all. I am currently restoring a old muscle car. A 1970 AMC Rebel Machine to be exact. I am looking for a painter in the western Chicagoland area to apply a nice paint job at a fair price. This car will be a driver. I have completely disassembled the car and prepped it for paint. It will just need some minor body repair, panel fittment then paint. Let me know your reccomendations please. Thanks Rick.

My $.02, small shop in Schaumburg called Corpo. They have done a repair and a body mod on my FFR and I was very pleased, good value for a fair price. Good luck with your project. While I am a Mopar guy at heart, I have a soft spot for AMC, especially the AMX's.

Very cool!
I searched for a good honest shop that will provide a personal touch to my 69 corvette I was finishing. Had a bunch come to the house for estimates. Wasn't too satisfied w any of them. They r are not many that do this. Realistically u get what u pay for. I am super happy to meet and work w Dave at KDX in McHenry IL. He has done very good work and the coolest thing about it is he ONLY does classics! His shop does NO collision...thus no minivans, etc. I dig the shop and he is fair on pricing. Would highly recommend. If u call say "corvette Ron" sent u. |
