Annual Club Picnic It's time for our annual summer picnic! This year I'll be hosting at our home in Plano on August 1st. Festivities will start around 11, so if anyone wants to gather for Snake and Eggs in the morning at Ginny O's, then caravan down, timing will be just about right to arrive for the picnic. Please watch your email for the official invitation. If you do not get the email, please send me a private message so I can correct any problems. This will be a pot-luck event as usual. Please reply to the invite with number of people and what you plan to bring so we can make sure we have a good variety of salads, veggies, desserts and beverages. Kate |

Watch out if Ralphie attends. He MAY jump off the wagon, and we all know what happens then. |

Hi Kate, Sorry, but we are already double booked with family commitments therefore unable to attend this year's club picnic. |

Only 1 week until the picnic! If you have not responded to the Evite, please do so ASAP. If you did not get an Evite in your email, please let me know! |

Now this is strange, my buddy Karl from the Arizona Cobra Club responds but noboby from our own club has said a word. Ralphie:MECOOL: |

All the activity has been on the Evite and through email. Lots of people expected, at least 30! A couple people have mentioned meeting for breakfast at Ginny O's, so a caravan is a great idea! There are some roads closed due to construction, so take 47 south past Sugar Grove. Turn right (west) on Jericho Rd (if you want some fun twisty turns) or Galena Rd (more direct). Turn left (south) on Little Rock Rd. Turn right on Woodwind. Left at the stop sign, then a right and a left onto Pauline Place. Park when you see more Cobras. :) |

What a great picnic! We had at least a dozen cars and 30 people! The day was on the warm side, but there was plenty of shade and many of congregated in the air conditioning. Thank you to everyone who came, it was a fun day! Next up: Possible day cruise to Fort Atkinson Meadowdale and British Car Union car shows |
