Another new member in the Chicago area
Evening folks! Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. First I'd like to thank Blas for all of the help over the years. He has been amazing with his ability to share his knowledge on these cars, and it helped me identify what car was right for me. Still want to by you lunch when we get a break in the weather Blas.
I just took position of my (new to me) cobra. It is SP01986. Built in 2004, Southern Automotive 427/462, silver (no stripes) over black interior, Tremec 5 speed, just over 3K miles. Had the pleasure to drive it back from MI last Fri to it's home in the western burbs. Itching to get it out on the road. My wife and I are looking forward to as many events as we can make with this group. I heard that there is another SPF in Geneva, so if anyone knows who this is, I'd like to reach out to them. Welcome aboard and enjoy that SPF! Blas is a great resource. You got your car just in time to enjoy the good weather ahead. Sounds like a nice set-up. Be careful with her until you get a good feel for the car. |
