Road America Shelby Event
Hi All!
Are many people going up to Road America for the Sept 6-7-8 Shelby Club event? I will likely go on Sun. Its a great event as there are many Cobras (even originals) on hand. On another note, has anyone been down to the Frosted Mug (115th & Pulaski) for their Tues Nite Cruises this summer? I keep meaning to go there but its not close... |

CDOG, Definately interested in going to Road America for the Shelby Club meet and track event September 6th, 7th or 8th. Mabey we can get a car pool going to head up there this Sunday. Sound good?? Anyone else???

The weather report for the weekend was rain both days. Now on Wednesday morning that all changed. Sunny and 85 both days. Hope to be there one of the days. Jim

I might be able to get my arm twisted into going to Road America. If I go on Sunday, there is a good chance that I will be by myself. Saturday and I would bring the wife and kids. Would not mind caravaning on the way up and possibly back. Not sure about carpooling. Lets figure something out and get some people there. I would be an observer.
As far as Frosted Mug goes, it is in my 'hood. If you guys are planning on comming out one night, let me know!! It has been a while since I have been past it. |
Lots of Fords/ a few Cobras
Lot's of Fords registered but only 16 Cobras out of 205 entries. Where are all you midwest Cobra guys? That's only an 8% Cobra turnout. You guys are gonna make a liar out of me, I said 10% are track guys.
Have a good and safe time and perhaps the Crankoids will get there next year. Cranky:D |
Dang ! Cdog ! you sure brought back some memories for me about the old Frosty Mug on Pulaski. A bunch of us guys started going up there 15 or 16yrs ago on Tuesday night. It really started getting popular after a couple years. I lived in Schererville, Ind and hung out at the Blue Top in Munster, Ind most of the time. On Saturday nights. A lot of great guys there at both places. I really miss it alot. If you go to the blue top get a vanilla coke, they're great !
