9/26 Build Status:
I thought I would post a quick picture of where she's at as of today.
Sid stopped by and lent a hand! http://home.earthlink.net/~bbentonsprint3/929prog2.JPG Highlights: Baer 13" Track front brakes w/ PBR Dual Piston Calipers Modified "FOX" spindles (part of the baer kit) FFR Tubular lower control arms Flaming River manual rack Breeze Offset rack bushings Breeze heim tie rod replacements Eastwood "Blackening System" black on IFS mounts. Breeze bolts for Front LCA & IFS Brackets "Ace Hardware" Alloy Socket head cap screws and "Oval" flanged lock nuts for the coil overs. Went a little nuts on the rivets in this shot, the drivers side (and the rest of the car) they'll be 1.5". I went for stainless steel rivets vs. the aluminum ones the cars come with. The SS rivets look nice and pull hard. They're a little tough by hand, but a breeze with the harbor freight $40 air riveter. Regards, Bill |
