Cobra Cleaning-Emmons Coachworks
If you have never been to Emmons Coachworks, 100 East Roosevelt Road, Villa Park, IL, I would suggest your take a ride out there. It has every type of detailing and cleaning product you might need to keep your Cobra (or replica) in concourse condition.
They also have apparel that you can have custom embroidered with the Cobra logo, as well as logo keychains, floor mats etc. They don't carry Zaino. I know everybody loves Zaino, but I'm unimpressed with it. I tried it on my custom Harleys, and could tell no difference in shine, depth, or whatever. My brother-in-law used it on his older Porsche and loves it. Hey, to each his own. I prefer Zymol. Not the one step product that you see at Target or K-mart, but the two step process they sell at Emmon's, consisting of HD Cleanse, and then Zymol Wax. Also, I hear the micro-fibre polishing cloths from Griots are great, better than 100% cotton cloths. I have no financial connections to Emmons. Just like shopping there. Also, this is one of the few places that sells P21S wheel cleaner, a pretty good product.
They have a lot of clothing and accessories for every marque, from Cobra to Honda...The owner, Larry Emmons I think, is a good guy but I'm sure the recession has hurt his business. Try his store before running out to Autozone or calling Griots.. |
