New Guy looking for help registering

Hello Guys,
Geo has contacted me about registering a new roadster. TU can not help him. I know some of you use the new Illinois law for kit cars. If there is anybody out there that has done it and is willing to help out this guy get things straight, I think that would be great. You can contact him at RYDMAN4@cs.com.
Thanks
Mark:)

Since it looks like TU cannot help us anymore, and the Illinois Law is supposed to make it easy, let's put any information we can in the FAQ on www.windycitycobras.com. There was a lengthy thread on the other forum that talks about who inspects the car, etc.

Concerning the same question, how hard is it to registor a cobra kit car that is registor in Ohio? I am in the process of buying one in the next two weeks? Any recommendation on insurance companies?

My email is koolsnake427@aol.com

Your comments would be very helpful because I need to get this all done in the next two weeks.

Thanks

Dan

If its already registered then its just like buying a used car... pay your taxes and get some plate. As long as its titled its a regular car.
