NEXT EVENT - Concours D'McDonalds & Club Elections

Please note that our next event is:

******** 2nd Annual Concours D’ McDonalds and Club Elections *********

Where: McDonald’s Number One Museum at 400 Lee Street, Des Plaines

When: Saturday, July 26th, 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM

This is a great event at the 1950’s style McDonalds in Des Plaines! This was a success last year, and we are hoping to have most of WCCC’s cars there, along with all of the members if your schedule allows!

The show will be judged, with trophies being given in a variety of categories. Please try to make sure that your Cobra is looking its best! Other classic/sports cars are welcome as well.

Wanna be a WCCC Officer? Wanna help plan and organize events for your favorite car club?

Well, WCCC Elections will be coming up at 12PM NOON at the McDonald’s meeting (above) in Des Plaines. Please try to come and run for the office of your choice.

If you want to run for an office, but can't be there, please have someone that will be there nominate you.

Meeting Saturday

Cdog, planning on coming but if rain is in the forecast, probably will not bring car. If it gets rained out, maybe we could reschedule for next Saturday and caravan to the Polk-A-Dot after the meeting. Believe it starts at 4:00pm. Just a backup thought in case we get rained out like last year!

Nope can't make it guys. Wedding on that day. If it gets moved then I'm in for sure!

Well Sid,

Since it did not rain, and we had 5 snakes show.
Mark, Blas, Marty, a gentlemen with a Red Classic roadster and,
(who's name escapes me) and myself.

We called it an "OFFICIAL" meeting.

The next "SEMI-OFFICIAL" meeting will be at BOB's cook-out.
(Although he doesn't know it yet.)

Elections have been temporarily postponed until then,
hoping for a better head count. :rolleyes:

We haved moved the elections to AUGUST 9TH at Bob Sutton's party. You DON'T have to be present to run for an office, just let someone know what you want to do!

Cdog, isn't Bob's party on August 9th? Your thread reads September 9th. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town and unable to make the event and elections if it is on August the 9th. September 9th, I'm okay but since that's a Tuesday, probably not the day. Be glad to continue helping out with events and such for the club!
