Kit Car Build School - Indianapolis
Join Ivy Tech State College - Indianapolis in our Motorsports Garage for the Kit Car Build School on March 19-21. Additional class dates are schedule throughout the year.
The Kit Car Build School is designed to illustrate the process of building a kit car while providing hands-on instruction. Participants will actually get to build the car. We will also outline common errors and/or problems, source the industry and provide materials needed to recreate the build in your own garage. The three-day class runs 8-5pm each day and is intensive. Learn from instructors who have experience in the industry and meet other enthusiasts who have a love for classics cars. This class is for everyone. We will expain each tool and its use and have practice demonstrations for skills such as soldering. We will be building a Lone Star Classic Cobra Replica and Lone Star will provide a $2500 coupon towards the purchase of a kit following completion of the class. The cost of the course is $999 is limited enrollments keep class sizes small. Negotiated hotels rates are available for out-of-town guests and registration and payment can be done over the phone.
