Drive-In Movie
Anybody know of any Drive-In Movie theaters in the Chicagoland area? If we find one, does anyone want to set up a cruise night to the Drive-In?

The only one that comes to mind is up off of route 120 which I believe it is called McHenry Drive-In. The only concern that I would have is that many of these places maybe gravel parking lots and rocks could play havoc on the paint jobs, plus the dust being kicked up. But I do like the idea if the facility is paved. Maybe on our way driving during the poker run we might have a chance to check out the McHenry drive-in parking lot. I think it is only a few miles west of the Volo Auto Museum which was orginally on the run.

I think there is one on North ave. in West Chicago. I don't know if it is still open. There used to be one on Cicero (I think) in the South side. If parking lots check out, I'm in.

The McHenry Outdoor is open and very nice.

Chicago, IL 60185 Phone: (630) 231-3150 Both are gravel, but the gravel is very thin, well-packed. You can't drive over about 2mph anyway with the people.
