I pass by D&M and the Lambo place everyday and see a cobra parked outside. So I want one NOW...but I just don't want to settle for something. I'm going to enjoy building my motor in Oct. I can't wait... Looks like we are gonna have about 60 people at the picnic? Does fred know this? He is going to have to move after we're done with the place! sid |

long block only from EF. The rest will be built by me with the help from Corey at Dude's Performance in Streamwood. I should have the drivetrain done by the end of Oct.

I guess I can add you to the list of people that have been corrupted by my car :LOL: But this is a good thing. I've working my tail off at work lately and have not had the chance to drive the car that much:CRY: Especially since we have been having really good weather for August making it more enjoyable to drive. I was trying to get Fed's address to send him some of Kentucky's finest (not the corvette)! but maybe at a later date. Driving the car is like a kid in and candy store and great stress reducer for me. The kids ask why I drive the cobra for small errands... I tell them I have to keep OPEC in business :LOL: :LOL: Would love to get together with you guys and have some of the guys in our group to mingle with fellow brethern. Let me know I try and see if it will work. J.A. |

WCCC may put together a 3 day weekend thing for midwest Cobra owners....It will probably be tied to a scheduled event at Road America or Blackhawk Farms....Maybe a little poker run...what ever. Perhaps you can bounce it off a few of your local Cobra owners and see if there is any interest... You can contact me directly with email... This also goes for any other Midwest Cobra owners and Clubs who read this message.... |
I'll pass it along. We are heading up to Lexington for and event at Keenland race track (The ponies). The event raises money for the UK children's Hospital. The event has got some premo type cars worthy of a full day there. Will try to get feedback and let you know.
