Paul Jr. OCC has a cobra????
Watching OCC now. They are finishing the Police bike and I saw Paul Jr. pull up in a silver with black stripe COBRA!!!!!!!! Guys got good taste!!!

Naw, Senior has the taste, he buys Paulie everything. Poor Mikey.
|
Jr. doesn't have any taste.. he was driving a prowler. ;)
|
To add insult to injury I saw one episode where Jr was trying to modify the prowler.. what a waste of time & money

Wow!! That is one trick Prowler guys. It looks exactly like a Superformance MKIII Cobra replicar. ;)
Being forwarned, I recorded the American Chopper Police Bike 2 episode which showed here at 2300 MDT. I played the two scenes where it shows Paulie's current wheels. Hey, IT'S A COBRA. There was a past episode where Paulie & Vinnie were modifing a real Prowler. You just have to love the Mikey getting stuck in Seniors "puddle" and Paulie throwing big rocks at him and splashing him with mud as he tries to get out. IMHO |
Was it a 427 body? I just caught the glimpse on the show (no TiVo to rewind), but I swear it looked more like the 289 body.
Didn't make sense to me though... must be my bad eyesight. I'm continually amazed at all the new toys they have each time I watch the show. New building, H2's for all, new coach, new house (with pond & fancy truck ornament in pond), and new flamed dually to pull the police bike trailer. The show really has done good for their business! |
I saw an episode of Rides on TLC some time ago where they were creating GT-500 "Eleanors" from 67-68 fastback Mustangs. Looking for the builders name on the TLC/Discovery web site, I saw that there is to be a future episode on American Chopper where OCC builds two bikes to trade out for two "Eleanors". They are begining to acquire quite a stable of toys! Money for nuthin & the chicks for free!

go to " http://uniqueperformance.com " that is the company doing the elinors

Yeah, for sure a 427 body. Like I said, looks like a SPF.
I bet those guys are making more from the TV series and the guest spots (Jay Leno & others) than they are from the custom chopper business. If you think about it, they may not even be billing for bikes like the Police Special or Lance Armstrong's Cancer Special. I agree, they show more and more toys each episode. I'm wondering if the various manufacturers (or their distributors) aren't putting the toys up gratis just for an appearance. Anyway, it makes me momentarily crave a scooter or H2 or a big Harley or an ATV- I can't remember the rest. On the other hand, if that is the case you would of thought that they would of at least mentioned the Cobra. They are showing more and more of their non-bike-building lives. It's LOL funny I think. Amazing how some bike fabricators can be so personable and candid and yet so typical. Long live Mikey. |
