WCCC and nearby clubs

I found a Quaker Steak and Lube that recently opened in Madison Wisconsin.

I thought it might be a fun road trip on a Saturday morning for lunch (when the weather changes of course). Maybe we can meet up with some Wisconsin Cobra owners and eat some wings and hang out for a couple of hours. There are probably some nice back roads to take one way, then maybe take the highway back.

Madison is probably 1.5-2 hour highway drive.

What does everybody think?

A little wings and wheels maybe?

I want to witness Sid and Wolfie eat those eye watering wings again!!!!!

P.S. Dad, we'll bring a spare gas can just in case you know what happens.

Chris,

I have been up to Madison a number of times and also pass through there on my way to visit family who live out that way. There are a few nice back roads that I take instead of just sitting on the northwest tollway. That could be a nice trip when the weather gets warm.

Lots of great roads around the area that I have taken with other (non cobra) car clubs. I would make the trip out from Milwaukee for that !

I found alot of great roads burning up the corners with my bikes. Sounds great, I need some breakin time any how.

Badman 02-22-2006 10:35 PM

Chris,

Sounds like a great road trip, deal me in.

I'm in. I drive to Madison about three
times a month to see my Son and his family.
Jr just bought a 2006 Mustang GT.
Just in case Pa's Cobra can't spank it
I'm sure there several in the club that
can!

Yetiman, we are not ignoring you. Of course you are welcome to join us as long as you're buying lunch for the club. Just Kidding!
I met and talked to you at Road America last summer, I know you don't remember. You were by your Cobra and I asked you if you had seen any WCCC club members.

Sounds like a winner I'm in

Wolfie 02-23-2006 03:01 PM

Ed,, you have ridden with us before therefore you should know that there will be no "spankings" of any mustangs or corvettes or vipers nor any other types of cars by any members of this fine mature organization as none of us drive recklessley or would consider bending or breaking any rules of the road.

But then again that's in Wisconson isint it! Just disregard my statement  !

You think we might be able to stop for some fresh aged cheese somewhere?

Barn$nake 02-23-2006 04:41 PM

Wolfie,
I warned the young whipper-snapper , but he just
sneered and made some comments about a bunch
of old LOW TECH guys and cars! He says us old guys
have carbawhaters?
I told him to be prepared to meet the
"WOLFANATOR!!"

Good one Chris, I'm in.

Yetiman, I would like to see an Arntz kit. I saw one of their ads 20 years ago which showed a guy standing centered on the dash of a body without the frame.

Wolfie, you don't need no stinkin gas can. All you need is a little dc powered pump between your tank and Chris's. At a certain age the kids are supposed to start repaying the parents for all they did.

Ed, have you forgotten the last time you were in Wisconsin with us?
