Carb tuneup in ssouth burbs?
I need my compression checked, carb idle and floats adjusted and my timing set. I was planning on taking the car to Mroz for a tuning, but that is not in the cards. I am not going to have a ton of time to drive, but am going to need a drive to clear my head occasionally. Can anyone recommend a shop that can help me out?

Those are all pretty basic proceedures. Ask around & I'm sure you'll find someone close who can help you out.

I know it's not that close to you, but Claytons is in Elburn. Jerry can probably get all of that taken care of for you.

Tom, Chris is absolutely right!
I spent a few hours at Clayton's this afternoon and can personally vouch for the expert that Jerry is on Carbs, among other things. And you may want to talk to Chris's main competition, JeffKo, who was also there picking up his Cobra. I have to say, when Jeff took me for a ride after the tune-up, Chris had better get over and see Jerry if he wants any kind of shot at Byron Sunday against Jeffko.

Big thumbs up for Clayton's. There's a lot of experience in that building and they get in your corner too.
The record is in now and I think I was about 3 tenths off Chris's time. That's actually good because I can keep shooting off my big mouth. Once you beat a guy you can't do that by rubbing salt in the wounds. Right Chris? :o
