Shelby Track Event @ Autobahn Joliet
Northwoods Region Shelby American Automobile Club presents: The Northwoods Gran Prix at Autobahn Country Club Joliet, Saturday September 30 and Sunday October 1. If you would like to participate in the open track event, hang out and meet new friends at the Saturday evening cookout, or just stop by to spectate, check out the link below: http://www.nwshelbyclub.com/autobahn/2006/ Independent of but concurrent with the Shelby event, the show car parking area has been reserved both days by the Chicago VMF and their guests. All makes, models and clubs welcome. There is no charge to the club. There is a standard $5.00 per person Autobahn admission fee at the gate (13 and under are free). For an unforgetable experience, participants will get to drive their cars on the track during the Lunch Touring Session! More info at: http://www.autobahncountryclub.net/CarShowWeb.pdf Mark your calenders, bring the whole family and don't miss the cookout (must register for cookout with the NW Shelby Club, link above). Any specific questions may be directed to me at: motoys2001@comcast.net See you there! Henry V |
Anyone interested in this event?
Hey guys, could this be a road trip for the club? Saturday is out for me, Milwaukee PubCrawl with my other club.
Maybe a nice touring session around the track Sunday, or Saturday without me. Ralph |
A few of us will be there driving...
I'm registered for Sunday... might stop by Saturday afternoon for the picnic. |
I'm in for Sunday. Breakfast anyone?
|
I will be there Sunday for the long track. Last year I went Saturday on the shorter track. That was an awesome experience. Blows away all those parking lot cone race track events I've been to. Speeds of 120 and above are achievable. Not for the faint of heart!

I heard a group of WCCC members attended Sunday’s Northwoods Region Shelby Autobahn track event. Could someone recap the attendees, their track experiences, times etc., via this tread or the WCCC website?
