Need rooms at the Hampton
I tried to reserve four rooms at the Hampton last Sunday for the North Alabama gang but was told someone had reserved all the rooms for LCS. I have stayed at the Hampton for the last five years and would like to stay there this year. :CRY:
Please, Does anyone have 3 or 4 rooms that I can have at the Hampton???????????? Dwight Frye |

Last year I made reservations at the Hampton in January, but forgot to write down my confirmation #. I called about a week ahead of arrival, and they had no record of my reservation, so I booked at the Days Inn just around the corner. After I arrived and unpacked all my stuff, guess who called and said they had an opening? Not wanting to pack up all my stuff and move again, I told the Hampton that I was happy where I was, and believe it or not, they got a little upset at me. Try talking to someone who is actually in charge there, rather than who is on the desk. They don't appear to have the best record keeping in the world. Maybe there is just a "misunderstanding". Don't forget about the Mid Ohio Cobra driving school on Tuesday and Wednesday of LCS week, Its a great venue for novice as well as advanced to get track time on one of th epremier race tracks in the country

I contacted the Hampton Inn and they were booked...they referred me to the Comfort Suites West...across the street?? They had rooms available at a very good price...haggle with them!!! 1-614-870-7658. I have stayed at Comfort Suites in the past and had no problems so was comfortable booking with them.

Did you try the Days Inn? It is the closest to the main three (it is listed on our site) The Comfort Inn is about 1/4 mile or more walk from the other four. In our meeting last night we where talking about the hotels being full and this is one of the other two we will be talking to so I doubt you will be by yourself! Another one right next to it is Hawthorne Suites West on Keim Circle. And then there is another across Renner from these two, a Red Roof Inn which is on Renner. To get back and forth between the two sets of hotels you would have to cross Rome Hilliard road which is something like a 5 or six lane road so if you are walking... be careful!

I stayed here while attending a class locally last year and now have reservations for the show as well. Nice place right on the main drag.

We liked the place so much we purchased it...."WCCC South"
Now the club has the Ski lodge in Vail, the Condos in Mexico, The corporate jet and the Hampton in London.....oh...and the brewery.... We'll need to raise the yearly dues again..... |
Don't forget our fine establishment in Algonquin with all the brass poles.........
