Second Annual Car Show @ Lake Park High
My daughter Melissa asked me to officially post an invitation to the Lake Park High Schools second annual car show to be held Friday 5/11/07 from 5:00- 9:00 at Lake Park High 500 W. Bryn Mawr Av. in Roselle, IL. 60172.
Last year the Windy City Cobra Club was the main draw and a big hit, my daughter said they enjoyed our tire screaching and smokin departure to the max. {Especially the yellow car} It was talked about for days afterwards.
Melissa is counting on our support, hope to see you there.:)

They will be serving burgers and butts and lips (hot dogs) off of the barbie like last year. Hopefully the weather will be a little better than last year.
And for the guys who won't be driving their Cobras, lets pitch in and help push Chris's 550 hp car to the show!!
Hope to see ya all there, ya , and you too Chris!

Get it back from the shop? What happened? Too much wax build up, took it in for a yearly wet sanding?
LOL

I don't know if mine will be running by Friday yet!! Thanks for the offer though.
Really, what was it in the shop for?

Braided fuel lines (tank to new tank filter then to fuel pump then to exist hard piping, then braided to carb with pressure gauge - and maybe new braided brake lines, clutch slave cylinder mounting correction, fuel pump power routing with a relay directly from the battery....bleed brakes and clutch while its on a hoist there....top off the turn signal fluid maybe...

Sorry I missed most of you. My son and I stopped by (in a non-Cobra) for a while with hopes of maybe checking out a few Cobras. I saw David but he was the only Cobra left. Good to see you David.

Rich,
Good to see you and your son as well. Looking forward to seeing you at the track!
I got a long distance wave from some of the other Cobra guys as I arrived. I thought it was "hello" but it must have been "good by" ...by the time I made it over by the D.J. a couple of minutes later the Cobras had vanished?
Oh well...
