I'm planning to drive to IA for drag racing either Friday or Saturday-probably Saturday-but if Peggy still wants me away from home for another day, I'll try to make it.

If you go a little further North, there is(was) Duke's drive in. Come down a little further southeast, and you have the world famous (it was on Diner's, Drive ins and Dives) Frosted Mug in Alsip. Frosted Mug would be my pick, but looks like they have a show scheduled already. Straight down Harlem (South and a little east), you have Cooper's Hawk Winery. Snowsnake might have some suggestions as well.

Sorry we can't join you. It's a great fun show and it's going to be a beautiful weekend for the Cobra...

Due to the overwelming response, I'll just see everyone at the show...at what-ever time....

Blas: Peg and I will be over at 10, we'll go down with you.

Blas,
Joe and I will be attending the show but are leaving his house at 9:00AM. We'll meet you at the show. |
Sorry, guys (gals), I won't be there. It sounds like a nice show but too much city driving. I was there twice a couple of years ago when LOKO did my pipes...didn't like the drive then in the truck and sure don't want to do it in the Cobra.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at Road America next weekend (?). Ken (Sandy) and I will be up there sometime Saturday morning if the weather is nice. Lowell |
Tim,
Meet you at the show... Blas |
