How many Cobra days left?
What a great day, put on about a 100 miles on today exploring NW Illinois. No leaves or colors to look at but at 70+mph it was still a good day. These cars are so much fun on open two lane roads, you can pass "slo pokes" in a heart beat. The only problem are the younglings trying to hang on your rear end to take a picture. I can't believe you can still kill bugs on the windshield in mid-October, I got plenty today. Not sure how many days we have left, unless you have a coupe.

I just got back from taking an evening drive. Wow .... so nice out. Just hate to see it come to an end. I hope it is like this next weekend for the halloween scavenger hunt.

We set a new high record today-old record 72 deg set 1979--new record 79 deg. today. :cool: We did 130 miles up north, the colours are about 1/2 done but still very nice drive. I know exactly what you mean by the two lane roads, hard to wipe the smile off your face sometimes.:) I never thought I would be driving the Cobra in short sleeves this time of year. Supposed to be another nice day tomorrow, we'll see what happens. Maybe another 100 miles. can't waste these days. Craig |
