Thinking about it, audible sound requires energy to exist, so if you could somehow convert all the power of the engine, including sound, to rotational power, you might be suprised what you get. All that gas-generated energy being wasted just to play music to your ears...

You're right, nothing about the turbo exhaust that gets your blood boiling. But that turbo whine, well, that's a different story.

My buddies GN has gone 10.31 @ 131 without locking up the converter on pump gas with meth/injection and stock suspension. Drives it anywhere with the A/C blasting. Just don't ask him to put it into the twisties or slow down to quickly......going back to the track with slicks and skinnies, and try locking up the converter.... ought to be interesting. Usually can make 2 or 3 passes before getting kicked out.
