Chicago Area Dyno
Hey-
I'm the proud owner of FFR5068. Had it on the road for a year. Running a built up 306 with a Holley Street Avenger Never been tuned up. Never been dyno'd. I'm sure I'm not getting maximum performance, which is a frightening thought because it is so quick as is. You know what I'm talkin' bout! Suggestions for a Chicago area dyno shop? I live in Naperville, so the closer (Southwestern burbs) the better. There's a place on RT59 (RPM?) but they seem very expensive and won't give a $$ range which always makes me nervous. Thanks- Joe |
Hey Joe,
My sister and brother-in-law live in Naperville. I'm downstate, outside C-U, and am not familiar with all the dyno shops up there. I do know that many Chicago Cobra owners have gone to Mroz Complete Automotive, www.mrozcompleteauto.com, with positive results. He's just across the border in Indiana, but it 's probably a nice drive. |
Absolutly,
Dan is the man to see...He can dyno it and correct any problems you have..And he is also a Cobra owner too... |
Dan Mroz is the man to see.
He's reasonable and knows his stuff. |
I remember there was also a dyno shop somewhere off Army Trail/ 355. Cars and Things, or something like that? The owner has an original GT40 if I recall correctly? Had I known about Mroz, I would have driven there after I picked up the car from Gess. So, anything a little closer to Naperville?
