Driver side inner door
This is the proposed pattern I am thinking about. The blue part will painted to match the car...the black will be carpeted to match the floor.

passenger side inner door

Heat shields added
I glued 3/4" foam insulation to the floorboards, and then sealed it off with sheet aluminium.

Thne I figured out it woudnt fit the tunnel. Sorry about the confined space in the passenger floor board honey.
