Progress on 4000 Series Rebody
The rough out is about 2/3rds done. Maybe by Friday we'll be looking at all of the panels being roughed into shape. Next step is to begin stepping in gutters for hood, doors, and trunk and detailing all the shapes before welding.

Beginning of 4000 Series Rebody
There has been some chatter recently on the topic of Alloy Cobras vs Fiberglass Cobras, more specifically Kirkhams vs all the other guys. The project which is currently the center of focus in my shop is the rebody of a 4000 series Shelby. I have been doing these rebodies since the mid 90's and have been repairing and restoring original cars since the late 80's. Over this span of time I have acquired a large array of patterns and templates required for their repairs. My motive in posting is to let people know there is another aluminum alternative out there. Over the duration of the project I will periodically post showing the work along with a brief description and explanation of what is happening, questions and comments are welcomed. www.panel-craft.com
