    Hello Moritz55,

I tried to send a private message but I'm not sure if it went through or not. I'm fairly new to the forum and just purchased a 'new to me' FFR Cobra. I live in the western part of the state so I thought you might have some wisdom to share about registering in our state. Any advice you have would be appreciated. I've talked to 6 different people from DMV and the Theft/Fraud Department and gotten as many different responses. Everything from a simple inspection and application for a new title to having 2 appraisals and having to post a bond for a new VIN. The last inspector basically said it depends on who handles it in Raleigh and what mood they are in that day. If you have a moment I would appreciate your insight and experience.

    Thanks in advance,

    Michael
