It sounds like you figured out the rear control arm issue ? I have a 95' CMC (aka Streetbeast) and stayed with the stock uppers...

I bought the car unfinished back in March 2008 and just took it on her inaugural ride 2-weeks ago... the shake out cruise (25 miles) was fun and revealed some additional issues.... but she is driveable, licensesd, insured and on the road... now it is just repair work to get it perfect for the spring... I have a few pictures are on my profile page...

I have done a lot of fabrication and rework on the SB components (footbox space, door hinges, so call if you need any help.... I found the tech guys a SB are of minimal help and most folks on the web don't like our brand (not that they have any real experience with it) I have found most guys who own a Cobra, didn't build it and are of little help technically!
