Hey bud just wondering when you mounted you body did you have any twist in it. Mine seems to be an inch higher on the passenger side front than the drivers side. If you had this problem how did you fix it? I called Joe and he kinda said let it flow out just wondering if your car body was a inch off. My frame is dead on so it's the body. From the bottom of my headlight hole to the ground the drivers side is 18" the passenger side is 19".

I just used some comercial grade carpet mat. You can use anything that will prevent vibration and squeeking for the mat inbetween the body and frame. I had my radiator installed prior to installing the body. I had to remove it to lay the body on,also remove the tires and headers. I made that gas tank strap to mock up my tank ,the tank will go in after you install the body. I made some plates on the top side of the trunk floor just for more strength. I still havent bolted down the body yet im waiting for my rims. They should be done in a couple of weeks. Any other questions just ask away,Richie

I hate to ask so many questions but I'm right behind you on my build. Did you buy the installation Mat or does it come with the body? Also I noticed you have your radiator mounted will you have to take it out to put the body on? I was under the impression you couldn't install the radiator or fuel tank until the body was on. Also you fuel tank looks just like mine except when I put mine in if I lay the bracket on the bar on the back it does not come close to the front bar behind the rearend housing I'm wondering after seeing yours if the sent me the wrong tank.

Funny thing with them, i told sonny i wanted guardsman blue. He said no problem. When i got the body it was a little lighter than i wanted. They gave me a touch up quart and it said zat blue. If you want something different definitely give them a sample. The finish is really nice.only problem was they forgot to give me the doors with the body. They shipped them ups and were chipped when i got them. I had the body shipped from plycon. The cost was about 800 dollars, well worth it the company handeled it like a million dollar car.

Hey did you order the blue gel coat that they offer or change the color? I was thinking I wanted a little darker blue than their blue but not sure.
