Glad to hear from you, sorry I did not replied earlier but we were in Egypt since 9-8-17 through the 22nd celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. You want to talk hot, we went to Aswan to see the Abu Simbel Temple 25 miles north of the border with the Sudan and it was 115 degrees but it is dry heat right!!!! it was like stepping into a heat gun. We are back now. Here in the East it has been a wet Summer and to be honest I have not attended 1 car show, only a couple of cruises. I am getting ready to do a valve head job to eliminate a slight puff of smoke and I can hear the clackety clack of the guides so before I bend a rod and destroy my engine I am getting this done. I will do the timing chain and gear as well since the motor will be open. I just hope I don't have to do a ring job. My compression is fine so that is calming my nerves. Other than that we are doing fine tks God. Hope you are doing fine too buddy, take care and talk to you soon.

Good morning Ron:
Just checking if all is ok with you, I have been away from the forum this summer due to a very busy summer and at the same time kind of wet here in the East Coast. I have not attended one car show yet and only several car cruises. I am planning a major repair to the heads, they need the valve guides replaced so I am taking that opportunity to re do the heads and maybe the timing chain. I have noticed a stream message of fatal errors in the website of this forum that precludes you to view some of the groups i.e. West Coast Cobra owners. Any thoughts on this?

Hope all is well with buddy. Hey I have a brass overflow tank for sale in the classified ads and this guy by the name of Paul Cameron contacted that he wants to buy it ASAP and that an agent will pick it up. My gut tells me this could be a scam artist. Is there a way to find out if he belongs to the Forum?
