It sounds like the allen screws are stripped. They take a metric allen. The diff. should have a tag on it with the ratio. If it has an S then it should be an LSD. There is usually a painted S on it as well as on the tag.

Cashburn,
I have owned BDR #359 for 6 months and wondered if you could help me with the size allen wrench fits the allen screws on the hood that hold the scoop on? I seem to be between a 2.5 & 3 mm or between a 1/8" & a 3/32" . The 2.5mm seems to fit best but still slips when I try to tighten. Also if you could provide any info on the rear Diff ratio and also if it is LSD or not that would be great.
