So far I haven't found the correct people to ask, but I did find out there was an antique vehicle parade for the F1 GP race in Austin Texas (last year? this year? Not sure..) so I'm looking for their contacts as well.
Tom, here in Aus the F1 GP is run by the Australian Grand Prix Corporation. All contact with anything GP has to go through them (they are God). I'm sure that there will be a similar body that has been set up for the Miami race. We were given the gig for 2020 but the race was cancelled on the Friday. The President of our car Club kept in contact with the corporation to try and retain our parade status but, it was not guaranteed. It actually looked like the job might have been given to another club. I think it was only the persistence of our President remaining in contact from time to time that may have got us over the line. If you can find the body responsible for running the Miami race go for it! It was an amazing experience. Even Fernando Alonso mentioned to me how "crazy" it all was. In Brazil they loaded the drivers into the back of a high sided truck with a reporter for their parade. A bit dull and boring I think.
