Torque values on the suspension bolts are MUCH less.

Communications is a difficult topic and I believe Tom Kirkham's brain is out of gear on this one.

Nyloc bolts are rarely torqued to stretch the bolt via that reference... Heck the suspension bolts I'm thinking of are 5/8" and are a hinge pin.

As you tighten, continue to check for binding or watch the pull to see that nothing angles.

As you car is a mongrel in some ways, i.e. not built at the factory, be really careful and stop if anything seems amiss. I had one car where the 5/8" bolt was "dragging" into the hole, the guy forced on in... turns out the hole wasn't clearanced and we had a heck of a time ever gettting it back out. Rear inside A-arm Pivot bolt, ugh.

I'm thinking about 20 ft-lbs, it doesn't really matter, just enough to draw it up and hold the bolt from spinning.

rgb@exact427.com if you want more info, my brain is in gear today, thanks for the coffee!

    Roger
