Born in Lindsay Calif moved to Riverside at the age of 12 then to Tulsa, OK at the age of 15. Later moved back to LA area for a short time, also lived in Philadelphia and Dallas. Spent the last 30 years in all phases of the oil and gas business.

Winnipaw. I have built 3 Daytona Coupes.
The first was chassis #013 Factory Five which ended in Dallas w/ Jay Nordstrom.\
The Second was a B&B Mfg. which was copied from FFR but I had some serious upgrades as to chassis roll cage and some other things.
The coupe I am working on now is a JBL but I am making mods to it as well because I am using a Coyote engine and it is significantly bigger than the eng compartment. I am re-doing the roll cage as well as the frnt suspension. Probably a year out on that one.

Well after no small amount of messing about, I finally went with option C, which is to transfer the title over directly, using the wacky NY VIN tag. Once that's done and settled, I'll then go back and see what I can do about changing it back to the chassis VIN number, but initially no one wanted to get involved.
It currently has a valid tag on it - although the tag office (Central Park @ 81st and Elm) transposed the names and so I got my first OK title with the SELLER'S name on it. What can you do but laugh it off, right? I contacted them and they're fixing it.
Thanks for your cell number. Next time I'm in town with the car, would love to get together for your evaluation. Or a slurpee...

The girl that runs the tag office at Kenosha (71st and Midway has done lots of Cobras and is very easy to work with. I am sure this situation has came up before. You might do well to give her a call 25695 E 71st St Broken Arrow, OK 74014
