Yep, 36 degrees total. If you get detonation back the timing off until the detonation is gone. With aluminum heads you should be good though.

Bill, I would try that. My Webers were happiest at 36 degrees total advance.

Hi Bill, You need to disconnect the throttle linkage from side to side, the only linkage left on during syncing is front to back. You will have to adjust the throttle linkage links to the center...
