How far above your rear body, is the top of your roll bar? And how wide inside to inside is the hoop. Does it meet the 3-4” above your helmet rule by SCCA. Mine is too low and I’m redoing the hoop and forward brace. But if I go by the rules it’s entirely wrong looking. Yours looks perfect.

    Hi There-

Came across a recent post that says you have a shop in Escondido. I live in Rancho Bernardo just a few miles down the street. I purchased a Backdraft Cobra last year that’s a 2012 build completed by VMS in Connecticut. I’ve been having work done by JBA here in San Diego but not overly excited about their workmanship. I’m believe I’m in need of a new clutch after we just replaced my slave cylinder for the second time in a year. Do you work on Backdrafts? Could I swing by your shop next week to chat?

    Best,
    Mike

    Hi CompClassics,

Do you still have any parts for 427 Cobra seatbelts?

    Cheers

John, I came across an old post from you stating that you had a C3MF-10344-A alternator press on fan/pulley with the 4" sheave. I know that this is a fools errand, but if you still have it would you be willing to sell it?
    Regards,

I appreciate your info on my differential. So let me see if I’m getting this straight. The port at the top of the differential cover SHOULDN’T be used for the overflow catch can, it should have been utilized for the oil cooler if one was installed. The correct port is actual on top of the differential...... is this port accessible while the differential is installed? What’s the process to make the setup correct?

Definitely disappointing as my car was setup by Olthoff Racing and I would have thought they would definitely have done this correctly. I also wonder why KMC wouldnt use a deflector on their cover.

Thanks for any help and pics of the correct ports and of the the correct setup o help me get this straight.

Alfa02 here, I found out my Fab. Guy. Has a NOS Cobra manifold and waterpipe for 48IDA Webbers. (No Carbs) I have pictures but don't know how to post them here. If I had a small block I'd put them on my Cobra, But no (427SO) Anyway wants to sell it, so I'd thought I would drop you a line, to see if you know anyone? Here's my #360 801 4510, and email luxmantom@gmail.com And I'll send you pictures. Next time you see Mr. Grant, tell Allen Hi for me. Thank you Tom.

Hopeful the completion date is still end of April. it's at my friends shop (Old School Garage) ex-Porsche Factory Race crew chief, he's the best. Give me a call when you get a minute, we'll talk Thank's again Tom. 360 801 4510,
