    I’ve had Avon’s. MT S/R are a better all round tire. Avon’s are a fair weather tire - they are are horrible unless they are warmed up, horrible in cold weather and dangerous in anything but dry pavement.

    Rec'd the intake Friday. Mary Price is a sweet lady, sold me the intake at the old price. All prepped just need the carbs. I don't really want to wait till June though. Maybe I'll get two 1904's....

    -24°F here right now, going to -26°F tonight with an Accufeel of -31°F. Not Cobra weather. I've been told the Sorels aren't compatible with a Cobra footbox anyway.

    I ran VR1 20/50 in my 289 race engine with a roller cam and there were never any issues that were oil related.
